HR Systems - Director, Workday Implementation

What you'll do: Lead the development and implementation of Workday and future products (you'll own the HR technology roadmap). Oversee project delivery, addressing risks and issues through effective contingency plans; track project schedules and budgets; ensures requirements are addressed during implementation Manage and lead Team Members in execution of the Workday implementation using sound project methodology and by working in partnership with all involved stakeholders - capture and analyze business problems, and define technical solutions that will address process improvement Liaise between Workday and internal HR/management Serve as the subject matter expert and superuser for all systems and apply knowledge to maintain effective system utilization and accuracy Coordinate manager/admin/user trainings to ensure adoption of systems and best practices company-wide Bring your passion for and deep experience in HR systems to ensure consistent, high-touch delivery by your team and drive the rigor necessary to enable the company to succeed at scale Seek opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity; foster powerful self-service tooling Create or enhance process & support documents related to existing or new systems Build cross-functional partnership - work closely with HR, IT, Vendors and project team members to achieve project objectives. Ensure accuracy of all HR data housed within Workday and linked systems via reporting, clear processes and system administration. Develop and maintain functional documentation, standard operating procedures and system documentation. Develop and maintain user guides and training material as needed. What you'll need: Minimum of 7-10 years of technical HRIS system administration, including significant exposure to configuration/implementation, workflow, data analysis, and report writing in Workday. Bachelor's degree in technical, business, data-statistics, or HR-related field. Experience in a similar customer-focused environment or a combination of education-training and experience will be considered. Prior work in a shared services & case management environment preferred. Proficient with industry-leading HCM systems (Workday required; other system experience welcome) Systems implementation and upgrade experience required General knowledge of benefits, payroll, learning management systems, performance management systems, compensation systems, and shared services concepts Strong written & verbal communication & presentations skills. Demonstrated project management experience. A perfectionist's eye and an inquisitive nature - you go where the defect takes you and seek relentlessly to uncover and resolve anything that negatively affects employee experience Results oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Team player with ability to interface with all levels of staff. Strong customer service mindset Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize incoming workload on a daily basis Highly versatile individual with great attention to detail and dedication to quality work Able to work effectively with a wide range of employees (tenure, experience, and functions). Ability to think big and be relentless in pursuing your vision. Experience working in an entrepreneurial/innovative environment with strong multitasking skills Minimal travel required - 10%, though more during the first 6 months Bonus: Master's degree - MBA, HR, Labor Relations, Data/Statistics Experience with Design Thinking, Journey Mapping, and other human-centered design tools PHR and/or Project Management certifications welcome

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
