Senior Manager, Search Marketing

As a Senior Manager of Paid Search, you will be responsible for creating, managing and optimizing PPC campaigns across multiple search engines on a large internal team of specialized channel experts. You'll work collaboratively to accelerate the growth of the Paid Search Marketing Channel for our growing company. You will lead performance analysis, own the testing roadmap, run experiments, test into advanced search tactics, expand into new search targeted channels, develop audience segmentation, develop new processes, and manage the macro bid layering strategy, own vendor relationships, and accelerate keyword portfolio growth.
You will prioritize the most scalable opportunities and through testing and iteration, grow a portfolio of customer acquisition sources that are incremental to the Digital Marketing program. You must learn quickly, move fast, quickly run and analyze experiments, and make decisions prioritized by business impact. You will need the right balance of marketing and technology experience, as well as business judgment and technical aptitude. Above all else, you will prioritize what is best for the customer!
What you'll do:
Own project work needed to deliver on quantifiable objectives for some of our largest marketing channels
Own process of scoping, executing, and measuring experiments within the paid search ecosystem but also those efforts requiring Product and Engineering support
Build campaigns from the ground up, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and ad copy generation and experimentation
Keep a watchful eye towards new developments in the industry, to find net-new/incremental opportunities to scale new customer acquisition
Monitor campaign performance, perform deep dive analysis, and flag opportunities to grow or optimize performance across existing search marketing tactics
Pioneer new ways to keep our campaigns up to date with information from the site, our internal partners, and from Paid Search vendors
Relentlessly analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities
Build new relationships and work in parallel with other disciplines at the company
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, computer science, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline
6+ years of experience in paid search, preferably ecommerce or performance/direct response
Mastery of operations and management of Google/Bing Shopping ads (PLAs)
Mastery of analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Mastery of Microsoft Excel formulas, analytical functions, and automation
The ability to analyze large datasets to gain insights and make confident recommendations
The ability to scope, pitch, and execute recommended projects to leadership
Superior mathematical, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Deep experience with A/B and multivariate testing with specific examples of actions taken as a result
Ability to effectively work with digital marketing, product management, and engineering stakeholders
A tenacious attitude for learning and taking on new challenges, and entrepreneurial / self-starting mentality
Demonstrable organizational skills, and ability to work independently with a backlog of projects and tasks
Flexibility for periodic travel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
