Studio Stylist

Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an aspiring Studio Stylist to join our Chewy Studios Art Team based in Dania Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate has a passion for hands-on creative production in a fast paced and energetic environment. Your artistic interests should span several disciplines: production design, creative conception, prop design and fabrication, crafting, and prop styling for film, photography or theater. You are a hard worker who works well with teams, comfortable giving artistic direction and feedback, an excellent communicator, as well as extremely organized. You are also an excellent multi-tasker who is able to manage several projects simultaneously while completing tasks quickly and efficiently. If you think of yourself as a playful perfectionist who enjoys creative story telling, has a knack for creative conception and a talent for set and prop crafting, this might be the perfect role for you!
What you'll do:
Field creative assignments for various photo and video assignments
Fabricate props and creative elements for Chewy Studios video and photo shoots
Design, fabrication and installation of set and set pieces
Maintain organization of creative supplies, tools and creative elements
Manage fabrication schedules
Maintain supply levels for creative and shop materials
Offsite runs for art production needs
Must be willing to work late or on weekends as needed
What you'll need:
An Art Degree with a focus on Art Direction, Production Design or Set Design is preferred
2-3 years of Art Department experience for TV, photography and/or film
A detail-oriented eye for design, style and characterization
A solid understanding of design, crafting and fabrication techniques
Ability to create briefs, mockups or renderings of creative concepts
Familiarity with video and photo related production tasks
Bonus:
Basic knowledge of any CAD program
Knowledge of MAC operating system
We work with live animals every day, so an affinity for furry (and non-furry) friends is ideal.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
