Simply stated, WAVE Electronics is the #1 independent electronics distributor in the electronics industry! Inside Sales Representative This is a full-time on-site role as a Salesperson at WAVE Electronics located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The Salesperson will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting and demonstrating products, negotiating and closing sales, and providing exceptional customer service.
The Salesperson will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends, participating in sales training programs, and maintaining accurate sales records.
INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These are basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, other duties may also be assigned.
Utilize leads, market research and business contacts to seek out new customer opportunities in assigned territory.
Investigate and qualify new customer opportunities for viability.
Support customer in creating WAVE focused end-user solutions and integrated systems.
Identify, promote and engage in appropriate training opportunities relative to business and product knowledge and enhancements.
Consistently present the WAVE Advantage and WAVE product assortment.
Become involved in dealer formulation of customer solutions, proposal creation, presentation, and demonstration.
Call out to assigned dealers in region to obtain monthly goals.
Provide excellent in-person sales support to dealers by understanding dealer needs, customer requirements and providing dealer with applicable solutions.
Facilitate growth and development of existing dealers.
Expose dealers to marketing materials and deliver product demonstrations.
Communicate to dealer promotions and training opportunities which are relevant to his/her business needs.
Collect potential new dealer applications and forward to Branch Manager for review.
Identify potential best existing dealer business opportunities.
Support outside sales customer's transactional information and support needs.
Conduct outbound calls to assigned, existing dealers for promotional activities, training information and/or order status/pick-up.
Drive towards attainment of stated sales goals.
Work as a team member providing support, referral and product expertise.
Maintain updated knowledge of product lines and pricing.
Model WAVE's values, vision and operating principles.
Fully leverage activities, promotions and marketing calendar to influence dealer's plans and activities.
May act as a back-up to warehouse personnel with fulfilling orders.
INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Solid understanding of audio/video technology and some product knowledge preferred.
Excellent business communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
Knowledge of professional telephone techniques and customer service.
Ability to identify and create sales opportunities, communicate the value proposition, and close deals.
Understanding of profitability components.
Strong organizational skills necessary to multitask and meet deadlines and quotas.
Proficient in business computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
