The ideal candidate must be able to perform janitorial and semi-skilled duties in the maintenance of City-owned and operated buildings and/or facilities.
Employees in this classification are responsible for custodial maintenance and care of a single building complex or a variety of geographically separated buildings and facilities, with hours subject to variation depending on the area of assignment.

Performs minor building maintenance tasks as directed; may do limited outside work such as raking, weeding, and picking up paper and other debris on outside grounds and lawns.
Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies.
Responsible for lifting some light, medium and heavy equipment and objects needed to perform duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Notifies Supervisor concerning needed repair work which may include minor repairs of masonry, plumbing, air conditioning, electrical work and carpentry.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications What's required:
(Minimum Requirements) High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license with an overall good driving record required.
If driver's license is out of state, must be able to obtain Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire date.
What's preferred:
(Desired Requirements) Must be able to work within the hours designated with no special exceptions Have experience working with cleaning solutions Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 9:
