Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service - Take customer orders and prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces and display cases - Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and preparation - Assist with stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining proper product levels - Provide assistance to customers in selecting deli items and answering any questions they may have Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or deli setting is preferred - Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations - Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Note:
