This is a permanent position that will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our construction projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction, from planning to completion, ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
This role will require a high degree of collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, making strong communication and team coordination skills a must.
Responsibilities1.
Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including planning, construction, and inspection.
2.
Manage daily operations at the construction site, ensuring all work is carried out according to plan and schedule.
3.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
4.
Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and other project documents.
5.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA safety standards.
6.
Manage construction budget, including procurement of materials and labor.
7.
Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays that could impact project timeline or budget.
8.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control.
9.
Utilize construction management software for project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
10.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
11.
Develop and implement site management protocols to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications1.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the commercial construction industry.
2.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
3.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulations.
4.
Proficiency in construction management software and other industry-related technology.
5.
Experience with contract negotiation, budgeting, and construction planning.
6.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
7.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team coordination and collaboration.
8.
Familiarity with permit acquisition and compliance procedures.
9.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail.
10.
Certified in OSHA construction safety standards or equivalent.
11.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
