Job
Summary:
Provide humane care and treatment for the animals in our facilities; clean and disinfect kennels and catteries according to established standards.
Job Type:
Full-time.
Requires weekend availability.
Compensation:
$13/hr Work Environment:
Requires handling of small and large domesticated animals.
Responsibilities:
Cleans and disinfects assigned areas such as kennels, catteries, etc.
Feeds and waters the animals as prescribed based on age and size Visually inspects animals for overall health problems and follow-up if necessary.
Observes behavioral changes that could indicate illness or injury.
Assists with animal rescues, transports and provides support in the setup of off-site adoptions as needed.
Ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, attention to detail, affection for animals and concern for their welfare.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Knowledge and understanding of animal breeds and temperament.
No prior experience necessary.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
